Gujarat Biodiversity Board (PBR/BMC)

The work order of PBR and BMC was given by Ujas Charitable Trust with the support of Gujarat Biodiversity Board. In which PBR has 144 villages and BMC has 1380 villages.

The performance of PBR is collected during the year of the village. In which summer, winter, monsoon are divided into three parts. Information about biological diversity within the village is obtained. In which all the information of the village is covered, then the letters of information made during the year are made into booklets and given to the Gujarat Biodiversity Board.

The functioning of the BMC is done by going into the village and forming a Biodiversity Committee. This committee is valid for five years in which a BMC committee meeting is also convened within the village. And this resolution is also disseminated by Talati. This committee protects the biological resources within the village. Sarpanchshree is kept as the chairman of this committee which includes 6 other members along with Sarpanch. Consisting of three sisters and four brothers, this committee conserves biological resources for five years
